
US-based leading fashion retailer Nordstrom, has brought an exciting twist to its Anniversary sale this year. The company has roped in four comedians who will be the part of the sale campaign. The cast includes Liza Koshy, ‘Double Dare host; writer, producer and ‘Schitt’s Creek’ actor Daniel Levy; ‘2 Dope Queens’ comedian and actress Phoebe Robinson; along with Hannah Simone of ‘New Girl’ fame.
The campaign for the sale that runs from July 20 to August 5, has been shot by ‘Saturday Night Live’ fame Mary Ellen Matthews.
The photo and video campaign will be featured on Nordstrom.com, social media platforms, and in the anniversary sale catalog, with components being digital, print, out of home, shopping bags, store windows, and in-store displays.

The comedians have also shot mini videos promoting the retailer’s Show Us How You #NSALE sweepstakes. As part of it, customers can share their anniversary sale photo or video on social media, to qualify to win a price of US $ 500 Nordstrom gift card.
Notably, the Anniversary Sale started in the 1960s and it is company’s biggest event of the year. The offerings at the event include latest arrivals at high-discount prices for a pre-determined time-period, after which the prices for the same products go back to their original form.
Furthermore, sale products include latest apparel, shoes, accessories, home items and grooming range for men, women and kids, including limited retail brands like Topshop, J.Crew, Madewell, Charlotte Tilbury etc.
The company eyes to stimulate and involve consumers across price and style combinations and create a sense of freshness inside its in-stores and on its online marketplace.
