Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart has launched OppDoor, his second major commercial endeavour following Flipkart. The software services platform, aimed at enterprises, claims to assist fledgling e-commerce brands in developing internationally.
Bansal, who quit Flipkart completely in 2023, has engaged former Flipkart employees for the newly formed company.
OppDoor’s website describes it as a managed operations platform for global expansion. It would assist e-commerce firms by providing them with end-to-end services on worldwide markets, consumer behaviour, taxation and compliance, partnerships, and third-party suppliers.
The company is located inside a Singapore-registered organisation called Three State Ventures, which has now been renamed OppDoor. Three State Ventures is another name for Bansal’s venture fund. He has been located in Singapore since then, although he is still actively investing in Indian entrepreneurs. Among his notable startup ventures are Curefoods, PhonePe, and Acko. He is also a major investor in the initial stages funds O21 Capital and xto10x, which provides startup advisory services.
