Autry introduced its latest sneaker, the Windspin, during a retro-themed event at Paris Fashion Week. The 1960s-inspired drive-in experience took place in the Marais district, featuring vintage cars, an open-air cinema, and classic American fare like burgers and milkshakes.
The Windspin sneaker, crafted from distressed suede, made its global debut at the event. The flat, tapered design is reminiscent of popular 1960s trainers, and the collection will offer 30 variations. Twenty of these are inspired by the vibrant colors of a Californian sunset, while the remaining ten embrace a more neutral, casual look.
The Windspin will be available on Autry’s website and select retailers in March 2025.
This launch marks part of Autry’s broader expansion in Paris, where the brand recently opened a new showroom and announced plans for its first flagship store. Autry also plans to establish corners at department stores Le Bon Marché and Galeries Lafayette. These efforts follow Autry’s recent acquisition by Style Capital, a Milan-based private equity firm, in a deal valued at approximately US $ 332 million.
