Brooks Running, the American firm known for designing and marketing clothes and sneakers for women and men, is elated over its 2021 global revenues.
The company has exceeded US $ 1 billion in sales for the said year – all thanks to the increased demand for runners and sportswear all through the pandemic.
The US sportswear firm saw its total revenues surge by 31 per cent to record-breaking US $ 1.11 billion.
Besides, Brooks’ direct e-commerce revenue in North America shot up by a massive 149 per cent when compared to 2019. Notably, its EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) business too witnessed 25 per cent rise in revenue.
Jim Weber, CEO, Brooks Running, hailed the crossing of US $ 1 billion mark as gratifying and said that this reflected the outcome of company’s 20-year focus and commitment from its global team to inspire and serve runners better than any brand in run.
The achievement has further strengthened Brooks’ confidence and, moving forward, it hopes to see strong demand for Brooks products in all retail channels in 2022. “I am optimistic the best is yet to come for the run community and for Brooks,” concluded Jim.
Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, Brooks products are available in 60 countries worldwide.
