The investor-friendly policies of Uttar Pradesh and the overall growing textile and apparel business are motivating companies to invest in the state.
As per reports, Paragon Apparels will invest Rs. 300 crore in Meerut,which is expected to create 6,000 jobs.Besides, Artex Overseas will be investing Rs. 180 crore; UC Garments,Rs. 10 crore; Universal Yarns and Tex, Rs. 40 crore; Pashupati Textile Prints, Rs. 19 crore; Ramesh Textiles, Rs. 6.40 crore and Kanodia Global, Rs. 25 crore.

Recently UP Government held an Investors Summit 2022, which was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Developments for Apparel Park near Greater Noida are also in progress. Similarly, flatted factory project in Gorakhpur has been approved for apparel factories.
Availability of skilled workforce, continuously improving basic infrastructure and proximity to Delhi are some of the factors favouring apparel manufacturing units in Uttar Pradesh.
