TechnoSport, a Bengaluru-based activewear company, has announced an investment of Rs 130 crore (US $13.59 million) to expand its existing manufacturing facility in Erode, Tamil Nadu. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government at the Vettri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026.
The Phase 2 expansion will increase the companyβs activewear fabric manufacturing capacity from 25 tonnes per day to 40 tonnes per day by the end of FY27 and is expected to create 500 jobs in the state.
The investment comes as TechnoSport continues to expand its activewear business and retail presence across India. The company currently reaches consumers through more than 16,000 retail touchpoints across over 20 states, supported by a network of 40+ super stockists. It also operates 66+ exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) and sells more than 25 million units annually.

The company operates a vertically integrated manufacturing model covering fabric development, production and quality control. It said continued investment in manufacturing will support its plans to expand the availability of functional and performance-led activewear in the Indian market.
TechnoSport reported revenue of approximately Rs 600 crore (US $62.72 million) in FY26 and is targeting Rs 1,000 crore (US $104.54 million)in FY27. Its next phase of growth will focus on manufacturing, retail, distribution and technology as it expands its presence across the country.
