Apparel manufacturer Ramraj Cotton has appointed Engal Jayaraj as its Chief Executive Officer – Operations, reinforcing its leadership team as the company focuses on operational excellence, business transformation and manufacturing efficiency.
Jayaraj brings more than three decades of experience in the textile and garment manufacturing industry, with extensive expertise in end-to-end operations management, production systems, supply chain optimisation and cost efficiency initiatives. His career includes leadership roles across major textile manufacturers and export-oriented enterprises.
In his new role, Jayaraj will be responsible for overseeing production management, project execution, operational excellence and cost optimisation across the organisation’s manufacturing operations.
Prior to rejoining Ramraj Cotton, Jayaraj served as Chief Executive Officer at BRFL Textiles Private Limited (BTPL), Mumbai, where he led the company’s operations and business initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Ramraj Cotton, where he played a significant role in strengthening operational frameworks and improving execution efficiency across the business.
Jayaraj also spent a substantial part of his career at Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd, one of India’s leading apparel exporters. During his tenure, he held senior leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President – Operations.
