
Arvind Ltd, a textile, apparel and technical textiles manufacturer, has announced a leadership transition as part of its long-term succession planning.
The company said Punit Lalbhai, vice chairman of Arvind Ltd, will assume an executive role to lead the textiles and apparel business with effect from 1st April.
Susheel Kaul, managing director and president of the textiles and apparel business, will continue as managing director and will focus on key strategic initiatives. According to the company, Kaul will work closely with the management team on projects aimed at shaping the group’s future growth.
In a statement, Kaul said his years in leadership roles had been the most fulfilling phase of his long association with the group. He noted that Arvind Ltd had remained an agile and innovative organisation and expressed confidence that it would continue to reach new milestones. He also conveyed his gratitude to Sanjay Lalbhai and Punit Lalbhai for their trust and support, adding that he looked forward to the next phase of his personal and professional journey.
Commenting on the transition, Punit Lalbhai said Kaul had played a central role in Arvind’s success, contributing significantly to growth, innovation and expansion. He added that their collaboration had helped build a strong and recognisable brand, and said the company deeply appreciated Kaul’s contributions to the organisation.
