Sportswear brand Fila’s parent company, Misto Holdings, reported strong second-quarter results, with consolidated revenue rising 4.5% year-on-year to US $ 888.8 million. Operating profit climbed 29.8% to US $ 131 million, supported by solid performances across both the Misto and Acushnet segments.
The Misto segment generated revenue of US $ 156.3 million, boosted by the success of Fila’s Echappe franchise and the launch of new product lines Peito and Panthera. The opening of the Fila 1911 Myeong-dong concept store in Seoul in April further strengthened the brand’s presence in Korea. In Greater China, the company expanded its footprint with Marithé François Girbaud opening its first Shanghai store in the Xintiandi district.
Chief Financial Officer Ho Yeon (Aaron) Lee said that despite uncertainties in external policy environments and adjustments in certain operating regions, brand strength centred on Acushnet and restructuring of overseas operations had supported overall performance improvements. He added that the Misto segment is prioritising product competitiveness and distribution efficiency as part of its mid- to long-term strategy, while continuing to invest in balanced growth across the portfolio.
