Global leader in sustainable specialty chemicals, Archroma is collaborating with Zydat Inc. to integrate the complete Color Atlas into the Vivid Color Library Management (CLM) platform. This partnership aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of inkjet digital printing for the fashion and textile industries.
The Color Atlas by Archroma, the largest engineered colour library in the textile industry, comprises over 5,760 colour references that adhere to leading eco-standards, ensuring consistent and precise colour reproduction. Incorporating these colours into Vivid CLM’s online palette optimisation tools allows designers to create and share palettes more quickly, streamlining the colour management process and reducing the need for pre-production proofing.
“Digital workflows and inkjet printing present an opportunity for designers and brands to embrace both their creative vision and their sustainability principles,” said Chris Hipps, global head of Archroma Color Management. Matthew Forman, President of Vivid CLM by Zydat Inc., added, “Our partnership with Archroma revolutionizes colour palette selection and inkjet printing, providing designers with thousands of digital colours and enabling swift and seamless colour matching.”
Users of Vivid CLM can access all 5,760 colours in the Archroma Color Atlas and refer to Archroma’s physical colour library in various formats. They also benefit from Archroma’s global expertise in sustainable colouration systems. This collaboration is part of Archroma’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the textile industry.
