Coalescent mobile robotics, a Denmark-based company specialising in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for the retail industry, has successfully completed a seed funding round with Superangel and EIFO as the main investors.
With the new funding, Coalescent Mobile Robotics aims to enhance its AMR technology and establish a strong presence across Europe, addressing the growing demand for automation in the retail industry.
By deploying its state-of-the-art robotic workforce, the company seeks to empower retailers with greater operational efficiency, cost savings, and improved productivity.
Simon Frederik Oelund, an Investment Manager at EIFO, emphasised the significant potential in addressing the lack of automation in the retail sector. He acknowledged Coalescent Mobile Robotics’ partnership with Bilka and expressed confidence that the company would continue to alleviate the physical labour burden in various stores globally.
Clionadh Martin, the Founder, and CEO of Coalescent Mobile Robotics, expressed satisfaction with the addition of Superangel to their investor base, as well as the continued support from existing investors. Martin stated that the funding would enable the company to expand its operations in the UK, France, and other European markets.
