
Marimekko, the Finland-based design firm, will launch a community marketplace Marimekko Pre-loved for its vintage and second-hand goods on 25 August 2022.
The commemorate the opening, Marimekko will release a special selection of vintage dresses from the 1960s to the 2000s on the platform.
It’s noteworthy that besides peer-to-peer sales, Marimekko Pre-Loved will help independent B2C-vendors to sell their Marimekko second-hand goods in one concise marketplace.
The launch will enable to further increase the lifespan of its products.
Initially, Marimekko Pre-Loved will only be available in the brand’s home market Finland. However, going forward, the service is planned to be extended to other markets in the future.

The Finnish company was founded in 1951 and is known for creating high-quality apparel, textiles and home accessories.
