Electronic for Imagining (EFI) Optitex, a provider of 2D & 3D CAD/CAM software solution, announces its collaboration with Fashion Enter Ltd., a UK training and technical skills development centre for fashion and textile industry.
The training centre will be implementing the 3D software by EFI Optitex into their course curriculum.
As UK’s textile and fashion industry is on its journey to introduce digital transformation, FEL aims to bridge the gap in the industry and academia and offer practical knowhow and exposure to 3D digital design tools.
The EFI Optitex technology will support FEL to include and implement innovative digital design courses and training session in partnership with leading fashion retailers such as Marks & Spencer, ASOS, Next, among others.
Moreover, the market need for speed, flexibility and dynamic demands are to be encountered with the help of technology and adopting digitisation.
The technology was implemented 6 months ago into their design, production and fitting process after an extensive training period. Since the implementation, FEL has gone fully digital from sampling and grading through to production.
