
Urban Outfitters has chosen a next generation merchandising planning solution from o9 Solutions, a developer of AI software platforms, to scale its digital transformation journey.
In order to maximise decision-making and profitability, Urban Outfitters will use o9’s AI-powered merchandise financial planning, assortment planning, demand planning, allocation, and replenishment capabilities. This will enable it to quickly respond to trends, seasonality, stock positions, promotions, and the specific demand drivers of the brands in its portfolio.
Urban Outfitters will be able to decide the best product mix across channels, regions, and stores with the help of o9’s AI software. It will also be able to integrate predictive analytics, assumptions visibility, and collaboration. Advanced allocation and replenishment optimisation techniques will also be used to proactively position inventory to meet customer demand.
