Entertainment Earth, an online retailer and wholesaler, has invested in Codesoft, barcode label creation software and print automation technology Sentinel from Teklynx.
This partnership has helped the company improve its print speed and label management process for 33,000 products.
The company needed a solution that would deliver increased flexibility for its custom label designs, offer customer assistance, integration with the SQL database, decrease the time required in the process from design to print and automatically trigger print jobs from their ERP system.
Moreover, the company needed barcode label software that could help create modern pallet labels and meet the international shipping requirement.
The implementation of the software has helped Entertainment Earth to cut the time from design to print by 75 per cent, therefore leaving extra time for the employees to do other tasks.
“Compared to our old system, it’s just so much faster to create and design labels. With the way we’ve integrated it into our SQL environment, it’s a lot easier than what we had before,” said Gideon Shutman, system administrator at Entertainment Earth.
