
3DLOOK, an AI-based company that digitises the human body data for fit and sizing intelligence, has raised US $ 1 million in a pre-series A round, led by ICU Ventures.
The funding will be utilised for expanding its R&D team and extending support to its fast-growing list of customers who are relying on the technology that provides a contactless measurement experience.
The funds will also be used to scale and strengthen the team to support its newly launched suite of products for its current and new enterprise clients.
The team raised a total of US $ 4.2 million to date, and the investors include Boost VC, 500 Startups, ICU Ventures, U Ventures, Solid5 and supermodel Natalia Vodianova.
The company also plans to raise a Series A round early next year.
The demand for the solution has accelerated since the lockdown begin. The company has collaborated with almost 200 stores of a multi-billion retailer, in USA for integrating the technology and is working to deploy 1,000 more within a month.
The company aims to help the brands, retailers and manufacturers reduce returns due to the sizing issues and offer better fit to the customers for enhanced customer experience.
The technology has application with made-to-measure sector for uniform manufacturing that relies on in-person size and fitting of the garment. The company has integrated the technology with more than 25 fashion and uniform companies globally.
