YKK (U.S.A.) Inc., the Japanese zipper manufacturer, unveils the launch of its latest Solutions Group ahead of the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) Expo.
The Group aims to address various issues of manufacturing industry like the time-consuming manual process, high scrap rate, material wastage, quality, high inventory, multiple suppliers and rising production cost.
Manufacturers will get consultation on new product development and manufacturing process improvement, custom machinery and assembly services.
Moreover, the YKK Solutions Group customers can also expect enhanced ergonomics for their employees and a more sustainable operation as waste and energy are reduced.
Though the Solutions Group is new introduction of YKK, the company has a history of engaging in manufacturing process improvement for customers through its Field Technology Centers since 1978.
The company works with the agenda of ‘listen and understand’ and its consultation starts with a plant visit by YKK engineers to listen and understand the issues before solutions are offered.
