STOLL, a leader in flat knitting machine technology, unveils 2 new machineries for knit and wear, integrated with the latest technological advancements.
The 2 new machines – CMS 830 ki knit and wear and ADF 830-24 ki W knit and wear – are designed to achieve the emerging complex requirements of today’s manufacturing practices.
What are these machines all about!
CMS 830 ki knit and wear is an economical entry level machine for flexible use, both for conventional production and knit and wear production. The high-performance machine is designed with enhanced intarsia capabilities and offers gauge E9.2. The machine is also said to deliver excellent price-performance ratio.
ADF 830-24 ki W knit and wear delivers improved flexibility in colouring and patterning thus delivering better productivity within the entire knit and wear range. Other features include reverse plating, ikat plating, selective plating and intarsia plating.
The machine apart from the weft knitting is capable of offering the intarsia technique within the knit and wear range which is a completely new feature for the knit and wear machine. With this, the customers will now not have to choose between only fully fashion patterns or knit and wear.
The latest knit and wear concept was introduced through the new Trend Collection MATERIALIZATION, which shows the machine’s capability of delivering sophisticated patterns and designs.
For this collection, STOLL used various applications in the development process. It developed a knit and wear pullover knitted on ADF 830-24 ki W knit and wear machine. The aim was to develop a knit and wear sweater with tubular waistband while providing a wide fit.
This was developed using STOLL weaving and plating technique and was used as the basis of a basic cut. The weaving technique was incorporated from the shoulder over the sleeve, which is a critical technique to obtain and is only possible with knit and wear and the effect can only be achieved with the W-technique (STOLL-weave-in®).
One of the main features of ADF machine is the yarn carriers that move independently from the carriage both horizontally and vertically. The large working width of the machine makes it possible to knit garment in one piece.
The new ADF 830-24 ki W knit and wear combines the entire ADF technology into one machine while enabling limitless designs options.
