The pioneer in developing sewing machines for all kinds of knitted apparel products, Pegasus Sewing Machine Mfg. Co. Ltd., has recently launched the new W3500P series of flatbed interlock sewing machines. Equipped with the new ‘oil barrier’ technology, the machines feature an ergonomically designed needle bar, which completely blocks any kind of oil leakage and splashes, hence staining of the garments. The machine also offers enhanced versatility and flexibility with the adoption of a unique ‘patent-pending’ needle-thread take up mechanism, developed by Pegasus, which can be used to produce tight and soft (relaxed) seams.
With a maximum sewing speed of 6500 RPM, the machine comes with a detachable thread take-up looper and newly designed front & side covers, which can be easily opened without dismantling the sewing machine, due to which both the maintenance and thread times can be reduced significantly. Another highlight of the machine is that the needle bar stroke can be easily changed, so that the machine can work on a range of light and heavy weight fabrics. Available in variations of 2 and 3 needles, and 5 and 4 threads, the machine comes with a host of optional devices like thread trimmer, tape cutter, presser foot lift, metering device, fabric edge trimmer and tension-controlled elastic feeding device.
