The new revamped version of ML 35C by German-based Karl Mayer Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH ML 45 multibar raschel knitting machine for lace, enables the lace manufacturers to react quickly and meet the constantly changing needs of the dynamic lingerie market. It operates at speeds of up to 800 to 850 RPM, according to the company.
The ML 45 designed with floor-level warp beam frames and without an operator platform, can be loaded from the floor without the need for lifting equipment. Sectional warp beams are used on the warp beam frame, which winds the yarn onto the beams in conjunction with the creels. Other advantages in terms of user- friendliness include the electronic control system for fabric take-down and batching, low maintenance servomotors for driving the pattern bars, and a modern operator console with touch screen. All the functions can be initiated easily just by pressing the screen, and all the important machine data can be called-up.
An electronic control system for fabric take-down and batching, low-maintenance servomotors and an up-to-date operator console with touch screen are other features of this machine.
The machine offers easy changeover of diverse items, with a wide range of designs possibly owing to an increased number of guide bars compared with earlier-generation machines and operation with shog distances of up to 170 needles. The machine’s flexibility makes it especially suitable for producing lace ribbons as well as full-width fabrics that have interesting ground constructions, according to Karl Mayer.
