Jiunn Long has established themselves as a leading manufacturer of knitting machines, acquiring a share of 20% in the Bangladesh’s market. With a strong support of research and development team, the brand has developed knitting solutions with increased productivity, and is also competitively priced. Interestingly, Wang San Chi, Owner of the company, originally manufactured the machine for his own factory, which he later on launched in the world market. “Now the brand is available globally in Asia, Europe, Mid-Southern America and Mainland China,” said Regina Tsai, Assistant General Manager, Jiunn Long.
Supplying machinery to big groups such as Mondal Group and Madina Knitting, the company has installed 4,000 machines, with the help of their agent Texcorp Ltd. “The number of machines we sell doubles up every year indicating the growing market of Bangladesh and acceptance of our product. We are very optimistic for 2013 and if the industry is able to solve the infrastructural issues such as electricity and gas, it will encourage people to invest more in machineries,” said Regina.
With a proper dedicated after-sales team, the brand believes in developing healthy relations with the buyers and is not just concerned with the sales of the machines. “Our team of technicians trains the operators, in order that the company obtains 100% benefit from the machine. In addition to our technicians, our Taiwan technical team keeps visiting our office in Bangladesh, to educate the engineers about recent technological development,” avers Regina.
Jiunn Long exhibited their single jersey open width and single jersey circular knitting machines. JLS-C, its most popular machine, is specifically designed for knitting plain single jersey fabric with Lycra producing neat fabric without any crease or wrinkle marks. The machine can produce both open width and tubular fabrics, thus serving as a dual purpose system. To keep the cylinder clean and avoid the build-up of cotton fluff, a double sinker ring and outlet holes are designed on the top side of cylinder.
All types of fabrics including cotton, silk, synthetic and its blends with patterns of float knits, twill used in manufacturing high quality apparels can be easily knitted on this machine. Even the fabrics suitable for bed covers and industrial lining, can be produced with ease. Depending on the type of fabric around 450 ± 10% kgs of fabric can be knitted in 24 hours per machine.
