Carbonado, a flagship mobility gear brand of Indian company Bplugd IOT, has come out with a reusable respirator – AerFit NEO. The respirators are treated with Swedish Polygiene ViralOff® textile treatment technology.
Carbonado will treat around 0.5 million (500,000) to one million (1,000,000) respirators in next 6 months to supply them to its broad distribution network of multiple retail chains in India, which includes the Bplugd webstore and Amazon.
In these unprecedented times, the global need for face masks and respirators with anti-viral treatment has increased dramatically.
According to Bplugd IOT, the AerFit respirators not just protect the wearers but provide them with the assurance as well that they can confidently breathe in any atmosphere.
“This is the reason why Carbonado has decided to partner with a trustworthy name like Polygiene so that the wearers of these respirators can breathe easily and give out a healthy sigh of relief,” commented Pradeep Reddy, Founder, Bplugd IOT.
It’s worth mentioning here that the local reinforcement of Polygiene on both the technical and the sales (market) side in India has nourished over the last year which has led the company see the increased demand for its products.
“With the COVID-19 epidemic, a number of inquiries floating for anti-viral textile technology can be seen in India. A number of Indian companies are coming onboard with us and Carbonado by Bplugd IOT is one good addition. India has a huge and potential domestic market and the country is also an important manufacturing hub so it’s a good sign for us,” averred Ulrika Björk, CEO, Polygiene.
