
World’s biggest industrial needles provider and textile machinery manufacturer, Groz-Beckert grabbed the attention of more than 2,000 visitors at International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITM) 2018, organised in Istanbul (Turkey), last month.
As per the press statement issued by the technology provider, 89 per cent of Turkish visitors were interested in exploring the technological innovations at the German giant’s booth at the fair, while Uzbekistan and Iran were the other countries that showed interest in Groz-Beckert’s equipment.
The exhibition stressed on knitting technology, where the emphasis was on needles and machines used in textile production, to provide the visitors with in-depth insights about the equipment that can help improve efficiency and productivity.
At the fair, Groz-Beckert showcased most of its top knitting tools. Under the ‘CircularKnit’ concept, it exhibited a range of products that represented the relationship between cylinders, needles and components in the production process.
The highlight of Groz-Beckert at the show was the Online Customer Portal Knitting that generated a lot of interest among the visitors, offering a digital product catalogue and elaborated information of their knitting technologies with an accessible database.
In the Weaving section, the company displayed KnotMaster AS/3 that comes equipped with four methods of tying, single knots, automatic repetition, doubles detector and yarn break detector.
The scratch-resistant HyTec P machine was another highlight of the firm in the felting segment, particularly. The machine comes with improved handling and optimised elasticity.
Further, in the Carding segment, the company’s Sirolock and Evostop doffer worker wires that guarantee a homogeneous fibre distribution in non-woven production. A special doffer wire, which comes a rib of 0.70 mm and made up of 520 PPSI, was also introduced for micofibres manufacturing, at the show.
Two ‘transparent’ machines were also displayed by the company for legwear and warp knitting, alongside four acrylic glass machines with detachable components for demonstration to the visitors.

Overall, the ITM 2018 was a huge success for Groz-Beckert.
