A delegation of Egyptian Clothing Association recently visited Jack Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. in China. Accompanied by Betty, Jack’s Director of the African Region, the delegation visited the sewing technology pioneer’s factories located at Jiaojiang, Lin Hai, and Xia Chen.
During the visit, the delegation showed interest in Programmable Electric Large-Area Pattern sewing machine and a series of auto thread trimming sewing equipment.
Markedly, in order to promote the Egyptian garment industry, the Egyptian Clothing Association and the Egyptian government will carry out the ‘thousand factories’ plan. The association will also set up the training institutions named ‘traintex’ in cooperation with the Chinese sewing technology providers. According to Jack, the company has become the Egyptian delegation’s first choice for the plans it is about to carry out in coming months.
Jack further states that due to strong services, technical support, high efficiency of its machines and process standardisation, the company can provide a win-win situation for the Egyptian garment industry.
Further, since Egypt is one of the emerging garment manufacturing hubs in the world, automation will remain a key factor in the growth of the country’s apparel sector. “Automation is the inevitable choice for enterprises to grow and Egypt is no exception,” cites Jack.
It may be noted here that Jack has 7 major R&D centres, 500 domestic and foreign technical teams, 11 offices in more than 120 countries and more than 5000 sales and service outlets globally.
