Coloreel, a Sweden-based textile innovation company with a specialised technology for embroidery in its portfolio, has released a new version of its colourisation software for embroidery production.
The software is free to use and aims at assisting designers in creating sustainable and vivid fashion details.
The new version of Coloreel Studio includes several new functions such as ‘soft proofing’ and support for the multiple selection of sections for swatches – design features such as gradients applied to sections of the design.

The soft proofing function helps to ensure that the design is adopted for perfect production quality and that designers and digitisers without access to their own Coloreel unit make better designs.
Alongside, various embroidery design templates have also been incorporated into Coloreel Studio to enable designers with limited knowledge of embroidery design and punching to explore the full benefits of the company’s technology.
