China based fashion firm Yuanshang Fashion recently invested in Centric PLM software for its Sedate fashion brand. The PLM is said to solve the existing pain points by building standards for merchandising as well as data management.
The need for adopting PLM was obvious as Yuanshang has seen a dramatic growth in its business lately which also made Sedate brand face severe challenges in product and material management, said the company official. Moreover, there was a need to collaborate the internal and external entities with a backbone IT platform in the company to let the designers not face the material issues.
Chris Groves, President and CEO, Centric Software said, “We are very proud to announce that Yuanshang Fashion is our latest partner in China as they embark on the next 20 years of growth.”
It’s worth noting here that Yuanshang contacted Centric Software last year in April, while searching for a potential PLM vendors for its Sedate brand. The selection process started in October 2017 and after considering various global and local players, the company selected Centric PLM.
Yang Ping, an official at Yuanshang quoted, “The Company has put a lot of effort into building an IT infrastructure because we believe it will support our long-term growth strategy. We are looking forward to great success with the Centric PLM implementation. It will help solve existing pain points by building standards for merchandising and data management.” She added that Centric PLM is just like a secret weapon and the company is very keen on using it for the best results.
