“Connecting top brands under one roof – Technology and much more”… Brother and Pegagus have come together under this theme to display from the same booth. With them are two other companies – Automated-Sewing-Systems (A-S-S) and Pami di Tomaselli Srl. The new initiative highlights the understanding between Brother and Pegasus to enhance business linkages to promote sales and procurement of parts of industrial sewing machines.
While, Brother is the manufacturer of quality lock stitch sewing machines which are equipped with energy saving and dry head technology, Pegasus is a leading manufacturer of chainstitch industrial sewing machines extensively used for sewing knit garments. The products from both companies complement each other. Moreover the other two brands, A-S-S and Sipami, deliver automation machines using brother heads.
The mutual agreement is not limited to Texprocess and the two brands will jointly co-host events to expand sales channels, focusing on China and other Asian regions.
Brother

The company’s philosophy is to develop and improve the environmental performance and reduce impact on the environment. For this Brother International has adopted the company-wide Environmental Management System, which corresponds to the norms of ISO 14001 and Brother is successfully certified by TUV SUD. Brother original products which they are selling in the EU are RoHs compliant and in line with the EU directive.
Brother is set to display the new KE430F Bar Tacker which assures stable thread tightening and thread trimmer when sewing from foundation to denim. This flexible machine is equipped with Digital Tension so that the operator can adjust the tension as appropriate for the material being sewn and hence high quality sewing will be realized at various materials. Since a direct drive system is used, KE-430F boasts the world’s fastest sewing speed of 3,200 stitches/minute in shuttle rotation hook sewing machines. Further, since the work clamp lift amount can be set in two steps, it contributes to productivity enhancement.
Also on display is the new BAS342G-Perfect Stitch which assures beautiful pattern stitching, faithful to sewing data with maximum sewing speed of 2,700 STI/minute (with stitch length 3.5 mm). The machine has strong needle penetration force and gives economical operation with low power consumption.
Besides these, other machines on display include new Twin needle series; “Automatic Solutions” BAS300G series; “Garment Decoration”, including their Direct-to-Garment Digital Printers GT-541 and GT-782; besides “Home Sewing machines”: new model PR-1000 are some of the machines to look forward to. Its highly successful S-7200C Direct Drive Lockstitch machine will also be shown.
Pegasus

Pegasus will be showcasing its innovative “P series”, equipped with Pegasus’ “Oil Barrier” Technology. This series has been very popular since its introduction. In addition, Pegasus will introduce a 2-needle automatic backlatcher with a drop feed mechanism (MX series), and the “tension-adjustment type elastic feeder (MU device), with increased ease of operation and workability, which achieves high-quality finished products with a good reputation in a tape and/or elastic attaching operation. Other state-of-the-art models, such as a “Zebra Stitching” machine that produces the newest stitches will also be on display.
The debut line for Pegasus is the FS700P series: 4-needle, feed-off-the-arm, Interlock-stitch machines for flat seaming, which is the world’s first machine bed equipped with a completely enclosed needle drive mechanism. In addition, the oil seal attached to various areas prevents oil leakage and oil splashes. This series responds to difficult-to-sew fabric and/or new highly stretchable material, such as swimsuits with no yarn distortion on the fabric. Its unique presser foot with the groove on its underside, the machines easily sews the difference on the cross seam sections of the overlapped areas. Therefore, the overlapped areas in tape binding and lace attaching operations on the fabric, such as briefs and panties, are flatly and beautifully finished, so they feel gentle on the skin without any uncomfortable touch.
Pegasus will also demonstrate the “DPA (Digital Process Analysis) system, which is a total-support tool, by which you can hand down skilled operators’ unique technology and technical know-how and standardize and improve each operation using videos.
