Since 2005, Angel India has been engaged in importing, supplying and trading a wide assortment of imaging and printing solutions. “The products offered by the company have been chosen for its durability, accuracy and functionality,” says Anil Kumar, Director, Angel India CAD CAM Pvt. The wide range of laser engravers, cutting solutions, marking solutions, printers, scanners, flat bed cutting plotters provided for the apparel industry are first tested for their performance qualities in the company’s in-house testing facility.“Apart from providing the tested solutions, our effective after-sales-support ensures trouble-free functioning through a setup of a wide network of distributors and engineers, which is much appreciated by the industry,” says Anil.
The company, which has earned a good name in the advertising industry as a supplier of quality solutions, is now eyeing apparel and leather sector as a dealer for Mimaki textile inkjet printer, Graphtec cutting plotters and GCC laser engraver machines. All the three companies are well known names in the industry but its cutting plotters and laser engraving equipments require special mention.
FC4500 and FC2250 models are two flatbed cutting plotters from Graphtec, suitable for plotting and cutting paper patterns and for prototyping or small production runs in rigid materials such as polyamide, cardboard, micro flute board. The plotter can cut at maximum speed of 750 mm/sec.
FC2250 series is an advanced model with wide tool line up such as vacuum suction device, electrostatic adhesion and magnetic sheet. Both the models come with plug-in software – cutting master2, which allows direct cutting from graphic applications. D-cut master software is available as an option in FC4500 and FC4510 for easy and accurate cutting of pre-printed images with varied functions such as setting up of the cut sequence, deleting, sorting, etc.
Laser engraver is the other most talked about machine from Angel India. GCC LaserPro Spirit GLS is one of the most advanced laser engraver with the extra large working area of 38” x 24”. QSM (Quality Speed Mode) helps in maintaining 100% engraving quality while operating at the maximum speed. The machine structure has convenient pass through front and rear doors to accommodate long working pieces with ease. Patented SmartACT motion control technology allows laser to fire steadily and travels fast, enabling the working object to receive consistent levels of laser power output. With this innovative function, users will significantly save job running time and boost productivity. Other features include a control panel with graphic icon display that allows the user to change laser parameters and manage various jobs by prioritising them.
Maintaining a growth rate of 15-20% from past few years, Angel India has more than 100 clients from apparel industry which fills them with optimism.“I can say from my experience that this industry has to replace its conventional methods to grow further. Indian textile market is so big that everybody has an opportunity to enter this field, one has just to tap the customers to get business,” says Anil.
