Dubbed ‘stretch care’, the new product range was launched at the recently held KingPins show in Amsterdam. Apart from maintaining a high level of stretchability and other mechanical properties in fabrics, the new formulations are composed of several key compounds that enhance the quality and diversity of stretch materials.
The ‘stretch care’ range capacitates the products to be safe for the environment, the workers and finally the end-user. The company has released six new formulations which are focussed on minimising the loss of elasticity, protection of fabrics and accessories from damage, a softer touch and feel of the fabrics and a more eco-sustainable approach to the entire production process for maximum optimisation of resources.
These six products include avol evanix, avol oxy white, elam sense, fortress flex, geopower nps and special white It.
AVOL EVANIX is responsible for rendering different wash effects with light shades and vintage looks on denims, notably.
AVOL OXY WHITE poses as a safer alternative to potassium permanganate, which is developed for local bleach applications.
ELAM SENSE is fundamentally used as a softener for high-quality finishes on super and hyper stretch fabrics. The solution is 100 per cent free from fatty acids and amino derivatives, making it completely compliant with the brands RSL’s and compliances.
FORTRESS FLEX is a dispersing agent that contains an assortment of innovative ingredients that make it the ideal choice to protect the elastane fibre present in the fabrics. The compound works even in low temperatures, which prevents backstaining instances all throughout the washing procedure.
The GEOPOWER NPS is a blend of active ingredients that enable single bath desizing and stone wash treatments at colder temperatures. In addition to this, the compound also provides a wide variety of stone-wash looks that are absolutely pumice stone free.
While SPECIAL WHITE IT is a powder formula specifically derived for the purpose of cleaning and bleaching of garments at a lower temperature. It renders significant contrasting effects on denim garments with a highly reduced impact on fabric elasticity and its mechanical strength.
It is pertinent to add here that Garmon Chemicals was acquired by Kemin Industries in January this year which is a global ingredient manufacturer committed to improving the quality, safety and efficacy of feed, food and health-related products.
