The PureMove Bra was indeed a great by Reebok seeing that the bra has won six industry awards in multifarious segments ranging from fitness and lifestyle to technology and consumer-focused media. These include Time magazine’s “Best Inventions of 2018” and Popular Science’s “Best of What’s New 2018”. This is the first time that a sports bra is being recognized by both categories. The bra has also been extolled by Women’s Health, Shape, Self and Runner’s World.
The bra was a sensation in the functional clothing market being first of its kind sports bra that had the ability to conform itself according to the woman’s movements in real time at the affordable price of US $ 60. Strained by motion, the bra’s fabric changes with the help of a thickening fluid that compresses the garment to offer extra support while returning back to its original form once the motion stops.
“We couldn’t have asked for better customer feedback and industry validation for PureMove and our new Motion Sense Technology in its debut season”, said Reebok’s VP of Performance Apparel, Barbara Ebersberger, in a statement. “We are proud to have delivered a product that we feel has set a new bar across the category”.
This successful stride has encouraged Reebok to launch more colorways and designs for the bra in 2019, along with an extended size range being under consideration.
