The New York Fashion Week (NYFW) S/S’20 schedule is ready!
The Council of Fashion Designers of America has answered the requests of multinational retailers, media and industry stakeholders by serving up a much shorter, precise and compact schedule of the NYFW S/S’20.
Set to run from 6 to 11 September, the NYFW S/S’ 2020 will be opened by Telfar, followed by Tomo Koizumi, the Tokyo-based costume designer who turned into a design sensation overnight.
Jeremy Scott will be next in line, showcasing his much anticipated collections set to match the hyped media presence he has created in a short time.
The line up will also include designers such as Brandon Maxwell, Vera Wang, Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren, Gabriela Hearst, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler, The Row’s Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen and Jason Wu for runway appearances. Hilfiger will present his collections with his collaborator, actor and musician Zendaya, at a show at the Apollo Theatre on 8 September at 8:30 pm.
Christian Siriano, LaQuan Smith, Kate Spade New York and Batsheva made it to the show schedule as well. Marchesa’s Georgina Chapman will be presenting her first solo show since the exit of partner Keren Craig from the company on 11 September.
Steven Kolb, President and Chief Executive Officer, CFDA, said, “I am excited for the strong September line up which will continue to showcase and celebrate the creativity and diversity of American fashion.”
The honour of ending the spring edition for the fashion week has again landed on Jacobs, whose show is scheduled for 6 pm on 11 September.
