Santosh Kumar Gangwar, the Minister for State for Textiles (Independent Charge) inaugurated the 5th Tex Trends India Fair yesterday at Pragati Maidan, (ITPO) New Delhi. The three-day event fair brings together the best in Indian garments, accessories, fabrics, home furnishings & made-ups, Indian handicrafts, jute and carpets – all under one roof. About 1,000 exhibitors are showcasing diverse range of products at the fair.
Tex-Trends India 2015 is an initiative by the Ministry of Textiles, with financial support under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) of Ministry of Commerce & Industry. AEPC (Apparel Export Promotion Council) has been given the task to organize this exhibition along with other Textile Export Promotion Councils of India.
