At Techtextil 2017, Swiss antimicrobial expert, Sanitized AG, is going to showcase its range of innovative material protection solutions which are said to securely and permanently prevent – mold and mildew, algae, pink stain and bacteria. The company will also give a presentation on how to maintain the functionality of technical textiles using its own branded products.
The company says maintaining the maximum functionality and aesthetics of technical textiles is possible through the prevention or significant slow-down of destructive micro-organisms by designing individual solutions for the application in textiles and their coatings. At the fair, Sanitized’s Product Manager, Christine Niklas will give a presentation on this subject as well.

Technologies on display by Sanitized will include: a plasticiser, which maintains the elasticity and flexibility of the product; solutions for water-resistant membranes, which are said to ensure the material does not crack, break or become brittle as a result of bacteria, fungi or algae infestation. Other products prevent the formation of biofilm – the cause of staining and odours; and depress discoloration (pink stain).
Now in its 19th edition, Techtextil 2017, the international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, will take place in Frankfurt, Germany, from 9-12 May. Sanitized can be found at stand G22 in Hall 3.0.
