Hi-Tech International, Tirupur, organizers of the hugely popular KnitTech fair is geared up to introduce a new fair in Surat – INDIA TEXPO 2013. Scheduled to be held from 18th-20th October 2013 at SIECC Surat, the fair is being positioned as a complete supply chain fair for the textile industry. “Not only Surat, but Gujarat State is poised to grow fast in textile as well as apparel due to the supportive policies of the local Government. Already about 100 spinning mills companies of South India are in the process to start their operation in Gujarat. So organizing an event in Surat is the need of the hour,” reasons M.A. Rayappan, Chairman of Hi-Tech International. The key question is that since there are already many exhibitions being organized in Surat to address industry needs, how will INDIA TEXPO 2013 be any different. “This exhibition will not only focus on looms and embroidery machines, our focus is to provide complete solution from ginning, spinning, weaving, knitting and further to garmenting to make it a complete show. Many yarn, fibre and fabric companies will also participate in the show. Moreover, we are a professional company and our network is worldwide as we are organizing such events from the last two decades,” argues Rayappan. The expo will be held in more than 10,000 sq. metre area and near about 200 exhibitors will display their products. More than a dozen associations from across India are supporting the event.
