The tentative itinerary for the fall/winter 2025 season of New York Fashion Week has been released by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). The event will start on February 6 with a performance by Brandon Maxwell and end on February 11 with a runway by Thom Browne, the chairman of the CFDA.
More than fifty-two runway shows and designer conferences are scheduled, and additional collections will be seen by appointment and digitally. NYFW regulars including Luar, Christian Siriano, Coach, Collina Strada, Lafayette 148, and Anna Sui are expected to occupy a large portion of these seats.
This season, well-known brands like Altuzarra and Calvin Klein Collection will also make a comeback under fresh creative direction. Meanwhile, those returning to NYFW after a break include Theory, Lapointe, Christopher John Rogers, and Fforme.
Leblancstudios by Yamil Arbaje, Alexis Bittar, Gabe Gordon, Angelo Beato, Vetesse, and Zeo Gustavia Anna Whalen are among the new names on the schedule.
Although Bode’s name is not on the list, the CFDA revealed that Emily Adams Bode Aujla, the designer for the company, will present the 2025 Bod Rec collection at the GQ Bowl, a livestreamed red carpet event in New Orleans.
According to a press statement from the CFDA’s director of fashion week initiatives, Joseph Maglieri, the forthcoming season will highlight the “importance of brand sovereignty and stamina” and reflect topics that are prevalent in the business, such as “calibration and innovation.”
