Madhya Pradesh has been trying hard to get businesses from Tirupur to set up their garment manufacturing ventures in the state. For the same the CM of Madhya Pradesh also visited Tirupur in July 2024 and met with industrialists in the region to urge them to invest in Madhya Pradesh.
Along the same lines, the Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA) engaged with representatives of the MP Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (MPIDC).
The TEA was visited on 7th February 2025, by Srishti Prajapati, Executive Director of MP Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (MPIDC), and a group of officials.
Prominent industries are being invited to attend the Invest MP-Global Investors Summit 2025, which is set to take place in Bhopal from 24th-25th February 2025.
TEA General Secretary N. Thirukkumaran, TEA Joint Secretaries T. Chinnasamy and Kumar Duraiswamy, members of the Executive Committee, Special Invitees, and members of the Advisory Committee engaged with officials and talked about the business environment.
Prajapati, urged businesspeople to invest in Madhya Pradesh by emphasising the advantages of the State Government’s business incentives, adding that exporters will have the chance to invest and grow their companies at the Global Investors Summit 2025. Additionally, she invited exporters to visit the Jabalpur Industrial Park.
As of now, the Best Corporation of Tamil Nadu has set up an ultra modern textile unit in Ujjain, with an investment of nearly US $ 7 million (Rs. 60 crore). The plant provides direct employment to around 4,000 women.
