With the beginning of GTE 2016, on Day 1 Apparel Resources met many medium-level garment manufacturers who were exploring various kinds of machines in the fair. Some of the medium-level companies are happy with the business and expecting a good growth for the current year. Pravin Kumar Sah of ASCSPL, Delhi entered into garment manufacturing just two years ago and is now planning to add some stitching machines. “I liked advance stitching machines here and which I will install in coming months. Similarly, some machines in the finishing segment are also impressive,” he said. His company is offering shirts as well as Indian wear for women.
First day of GTE also witnessed few overseas visitors as Islam Ali of Blossom Manufacturing and Trading, Butwal (Nepal) were exploring printing machines (digital as well as screen). “We are expecting 50 per cent growth this year as business is good enough. Very soon we will install some printing machines,” said Islam. His company manufactures Tees, shirts and lingerie for the domestic market of Nepal. Rajat Kapoor of Indra Processors, Gurgaon, also one among many visitors explored various kinds of machines in the event.
The inaugural day also saw good number of students from fashion colleges visiting the fair. Students of NVTI, Noida (Delhi-NCR) were very enthusiastic to see various machines.
