The 13th edition of the Japan International Apparel & Non-Apparel Manufacturing Technology Trade Show (JIAM 2024 OSAKA), organized by the Japan Sewing Machinery Manufacturers Association (JASMA), will take place at Intex Osaka from 27th-30th November 2024.
After a two-year hiatus, the fair is set to feature approximately 160 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions, surpassing the previous edition’s participation as of 6th June.
Buoyed by a rejuvenated global economy, JIAM 2024 OSAKA is anticipated to see a higher number of international exhibitors compared to 2022. Germany, led by VDMA, China, led by CSMA, and Taiwan will have national pavilions, while individual exhibitors from Italy, the UK, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Hong Kong, and China will also participate.
In total, exhibitors from 10 countries and regions will converge, highlighting the event’s importance as an international business platform.
This edition has notably expanded its focus to include non-apparel sectors, resulting in an increased number of exhibitors showcasing hardware, software, and services. Particularly, the number of exhibitors in the automotive, aerospace, and aviation sectors has more than doubled compared to the previous edition.
By the end of April, the official deadline for exhibitor applications, the show had already surpassed its previous scale. In response to continued interest from potential exhibitors even after the deadline, JASMA decided to expand the exhibition space and is still accepting applications. Due to limited additional space, early contact with the organizer is recommended for those interested in exhibiting.
Exhibiting at JIAM 2024 OSAKA, one of the world’s premier trade fairs for sewing equipment, offers an exceptional opportunity to attract new customers, strengthen relationships with existing ones, and build networks with business partners both in Japan and internationally.
