
In its efforts to take Taiwan forward on the global sourcing map, Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) has invited seven big fibre and yarn manufactures of the country to showcase latest products and innovations at the upcoming ITMA 2015 fair, which is slated to be held in Milan, Italy, next week.
At ITMA 2015, Taiwan Textile Federation will put on display the highlights of the seven co-exhibitors – Acelon, Chainlon, Everest, Far Eastern New Century, Hung Wang, Shinkong and Yi Jinn. While Chainlon will present Greenlon recycled yarn, dope dyed yarn and deep dyed yarn, for sports, fashion, industrial and other end-uses, Ever Seamless Body-mapping made by seamless or jacquard machine – ensuring complete comfort during use – will be featured by Everest. The technology is materialized in such a way that it can boost the blood circulation, reduce muscle injury and improve athletic performance. Moreover, it can be combined with mesh layer to get a wicking effect.

Far Eastern New Century will exhibit Toplumins – a type of luminescent yarn – is best suited for gloves, caps, shoes, etc. it will also feature PET two-tone filament, which provides multiple combinations of colours. Shinkong will present ShinCool Fibre which is a hydrophilic polyester fibre designed to allow an active temperature and humidity management. Its high hygroscopic characteristic with inherent anti-static function, enables better moisture regain rate of 2.2 per cent than any regular fibre. ShinCool+, hollow fibre which offers higher water absorption and liberation yet light weight, will also be displayed. Last but not the least, Hung Wang will showcase Crinoline made of 100 per cent polyester.
