
The 26th edition of Hong Kong Fashion Week is going to begin next week! The much-awaited event will focus on the increasing use of technology in fashion world.
The four-day event, from 8 to 11 July, will feature the latest fashion designs, fashion accessories, fabrics and yarns and will also act as a sourcing and marketing platform for the industry players.
One of the highlights of the event will be Fashion Tech & Trade Service zone, where companies like iGarment (Hong Kong) will be featuring its cloud-based service for Garment Management System, which covers all business processes. Also, PAD System International Limited will be showcasing its cloud platform that eases out the pattern making process from start to end.
Besides, a number of seminars have been lined up for visitors!
Each of these seminars will majorly focus on the increasing importance of technology in fashion.
The “Next Stop for Fashion Tech” seminar on 9 July will talk about the business opportunities and developments created by the award-winning far infrared fabrics as well as the use of seamless bonding fabrics in functional apparel.
Similarly, the seminar “New Retail Era: Fashion x E-commerce Strategies” will have speakers sharing their online business strategies. Speakers from Cloudbreakr an artificial intelligence powered influencer marketing platform, Zalora an e-commerce fashion retail platform and ECMS a cross-border e-commerce logistics and fulfillment solutions provider will be sharing their online strategies.
Furthermore, the Corporate Fashion and Uniforms zone in the event will feature the Hong Kong Designer Uniform Display. Hong Kong’s best designers including Vickie Au, Doris Kath Chan, Aries Sin, Mountain Yam and Mary Yu will be displaying their uniform collections.
Also, visitors will be able to view the Fashion Gallery, International Fashion Designers Showcase, World of Fashion Accessories and more.
Two new additions to a total of 11 group pavilions will be established including Yuecheng District of Shaoxing in Zhejiang province and the Yinzhou District of Ningbo − in the Mainland China pavilion. Humen Town in Dongguan, one of the cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, will join the fair again.
What’s more! A presentation by international trend forecasting group, Fashion Snoop, on 8 July will unveil the fashion forecasts for the Autumn/Winter 2020/21.
There will also be fashion parades that will have exhibitors from Indonesia and Thailand pavilions display their latest collections.
