Tasting success in the 2011 debut show, the second edition of ‘Source it’ will be held within the framework of Texprocess, in Frankfurt, Germany from 10 to 13 June 2013. To be held concurrently with Techtextil, International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, around 1,200 exhibitors from 50 countries showcasing their products and about 25,000 visitors are expected to attend the fair.
Additionally, the ‘i-tex’ apparel sourcing system will also enable representatives from contract manufacturers and apparel labels to get in touch online before the fair at www.itex-texprocess.messefrankfurt.com. To do so, they only have to register on i-tex’s online portal and complete a profile outlining, to receive a list of companies that match their criteria to make an appointment before leaving for the fair. This will be free of cost.
Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt commented, “The ‘Source it’ at Texprocess 2011 was very popular among decision makers from contract manufacturers and fashion companies. On the basis of the echo from the première, we have fine tuned the concept of ‘Source it’ 2013 to bring it even more in-line with the needs of apparel manufacturers.”
