
The Asian University for Women (AUW) has launched “HSBC-AUW School of Apparel and Retail Management”, in association with the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) recently.
This is as per reports, which added the launch ceremony took place in Chittagong’s Radisson Blu hotel even as under the programme, 13 courses will be offered to 50 students to be enrolled in the inaugural year while the programme will be guided by a global academic committee chaired by the former dean of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University Dr Dipak C Jain, who also served as a dean of INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
Reports further underlined HSBC will help set up the school — the school will offer a one-year Master of Science in Apparel and Retail Management programme of international standard — including providing support for curriculum and faculty, design Mac labs, class infrastructure and education materials and IT.
