
Themed ‘Denim Networks’, the 6th edition of Bangladesh Denim Expo, will open its gates on 17th May, at Bashundhara International Convention City in Dhaka, to highlight the importance of developing understanding and relationships in the Denim industry.
The two-day expo will also promote the importance of sustainability, addressing environmental and ecological issues that affect business apart from promoting ways to improve and develop best working practices.
“This season’s expo will deliver a dynamic environment to welcome all Denim lovers offering the perfect platform to develop new business relationships,” said Mostafiz Uddin, Founder and CEO, Bangladesh Denim Expo. He also announced a platform – Sustainable Apparel Forum, the first-ever forum investing in the future potential, sustainability and competitiveness of the apparel industry in the country, to be held during the international trade show.

It is pertinent to mention here that annual global denim sales totals more than US $ 56 billion and is expected to reach US $ 64 billion by the end of 2020. According to data sources, Bangladeshi denim products had a 22.88 per cent market share in the EU and 11.35 per cent in the US in 2015.
