Coming out of bad phase, which tied down the industry for nearly three years, Tirupur exporters are now on an expansion path. 12 years old, Hi-style Texports is planning to invest Rs. 10 crore in setting up a processing house this year. It has also planned to install digital printers as now it outsources digital printing requirements. R. Nallasamy, Director shared with Apparel Online, “We have good orders from the US and Europe and are hopeful for more orders in the coming months, but we are facing problems on fabric delivery, so as a proactive solution, we are going to start our own process house.
Same as in value addition, since digital prints are in demand it has motivated us to install the printers in-house.” The company manufacturing ladies, men’s and kidswear has already acquired 5 acres of land for its process house. It works with Crocodile (Singapore), White Sierra, Oved Apparels in US, Champion and Famous in Europe.
