
At the ‘Textile Engineers Convention 2015’, organized by Association of Textile Engineers and Technologists in Dhaka, Muhammad Emaj Uddin Pramanik, Minister for Textiles and Jute of Bangladesh averred that the RMG sector of the country needs to be more competitive to achieve the goal of upgrading Bangladesh to a middle-income nation by 2021.
Pramanik has requested the textiles engineers and technologists to work with more efficiency to fortify the apparel sector to stay ahead in the global competition. He also informed that the Government of Bangladesh will set up more textile engineering colleges and textile institutes in the country soon.
