
It’s good news when garment companies in smaller towns grow and expand. Pardeshipura is one such small area, situated in the heart of Indore city, with enough infrastructure, including good roads and electricity, contains a complex which is totally dedicated to the readymade garment manufacturers. Even the ATDC training centre is situated in this very complex. Famous for job work, the complex has more than 150 manufacturing units of which many have between 10-50 machines operating under them. The area is also emerging as a production hub for in-house based factories.
Vasu Clothing located in Pardeshipura and famous for domestic market is one such company that has plans to double its exports this year and also go for expansion. Construction of the new unit at Readymade Complex, Pardeshipura, has begun with state-of-the-art 500 machines, including Richpeace CAD and Gerber Spreader. “Manufacturing men’s and boys shirts, we are exporting 80 per cent of our products mainly to South Africa and also to Middle East countries,” said Amit Tanted and Ajay Jain, Directors of the company.
Besides Vasu Clothing, some of the other companies doing good business in the area include Trends Apparels, Amode Garments, Swastik Dresses, Butterfly, Lords Creative, Puneet Apparels, Shraddha Garments and Gangour Creations.
