Bangladeshi company M/s Label Makers Limited is going to invest around US $ 1.14 million in the Dhaka EPZ to establish an apparel accessories manufacturing unit.
Media reports maintained this while adding that an agreement was signed between the M/s Label Makers Ltd. and the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) recently, in this regard.
A press release issued in this direction underlined Label Makers Limited’s Managing Director Md. Shahriar and Mohammad Faruque Alam, who is Member (Engineering and Investment Promotion-additional charge) of the BEPZA, on behalf of their respective organisations, signed the agreement, in which was present Major General Md. Nazrul Islam, who is the Executive Chairman of the BEPZA, apart from others.
Once operational, the company will provide employment opportunity to 285 Bangladeshi nationals even as it would churn out around 1,633 million pieces of RFID Label, Poly Bag, Label, Hang Tag, Pet Film Image and Heat Transfer Label and Biodegradable Poly Bag annually.
