
A Hong Kong-based entity is all set to invest around US $ 54 million in Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority’s economic zone in Chittagong.
Media reports maintained this adding the company aims to produce around 21.4 million pieces of knit and woven garments, tent, bag, backpack, camping chair, furniture, luggage, sleeping bag, gazebo, umbrellas, mattress and furniture frames annually, from the said facility, once completed.
As per reports, a deal was signed between M/s Campvalley Chittagong Limited and the BEPZA at the BEPZA Complex in capital Dhaka recently.
Chairman of Campvalley Chittagong Hong Woo Lee and BEPZA investment promotion member Ali Reza Mazid, reportedly, signed the deal on behalf of the respective sides.
