
With the view to support the education and skill development of the next generation of RMG professionals in Bangladesh, the globally renowned multinational apparel retail company H&M Group has contributed books and dressmaker mannequins to the Centre of Innovation, Efficiency and Occupational Safety and Health (CIEOSH) and the BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) recently.
The Country Manager of H&M Group, Ziaur Rahman, presented the books and mannequins to the President of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Faruque Hassan at BGMEA Complex in capital Dhaka recently, in which was also present BGMEA Vice-President Miran Ali apart from others.
Speaking on the occasion, Ziaur Rahman reportedly underlined that education was key to further increasing diversification and enabling a sustainable transition for the country’s apparel sector.
“From H&M Group we believe in the strength of cooperation and collaboration with our industry partners,” observed the Country Manager, of H&M Group.
