
Dr. Rubana Huq, the ex-President of BGMEA– the apex garment makers’ body of Bangladesh– has been elected as the chairperson of the newly-formed Bangladesh-Turkey Business Forum (BTBF).
As per reports, 11 Bangladeshi and six Turkish companies came together to form the BTBF in Dhaka recently to strengthen bilateral ties, expedite connections and optimise potential.
Dr. Rubana Huq, who is also Managing Director of Mohammadi Group, has been elected chairperson of the BTBF; Salahuddin Kasem Khan, Chairman, EC of Board, AK Khan & Co Ltd.is elected the Co-chairperson, while founder and MD of Kazi Farms Group Kazi Zahedul Hasan has been made BTBF Deputy chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of United Aygaz LPG Ltd. Ercument Polat will, reportedly, act as BTBF Secretary General.
